About Me

Vermont’s only brewery geared toward gluten-free beer will shut its tasting room down after business this weekend before moving this spring into a new, larger space down the street from its current location.

Red Leaf Gluten Free Brewing, based in Jeffersonville, will close temporarily after business Sunday, April 3, according to Universitas Swasta Di Bandung a newsletter distributed on the brewery’s social-media accounts.

“We’ve outgrown our small tasting room and purchased 208 Main Street, just a 2-min(ute) walk from our current location” at 105 Main St., co-owner Matt Stanley wrote in an email Wednesday to the Burlington Free Press.

Red Leaf will move into The Sweet House, a home from 1860 previously owned by the Cambridge Historical Society. “We’re angling for a grand opening in May,” Stanley wrote in his email. The brewery will continue to can and distribute its beer in the meantime.
